Peter Roberts conducts Songwriting Seminar & Workshop
Between February 12 and 17, Peter Roberts was invited to conduct a songwriting seminar and workshop for the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna Austria, called “Project Pop!”. The free seminar had about 75 participants and Peter Roberts spoke about the challenges for songwriters in today’s music scene, about inspiration, new media, publishing and many other related topics. The seminar was planned for 90 minutes, but went an hour overtime because of a very interested and inquisitive audience.

5 songs for Swedish Rock act Jai-Geng
New Swedish Classic Rock act Jai-Geng aquired the rights to record the songs “Storm Warning” and “Your Dirty Secret” co-written by Peter Roberts and Ron Boustead, “Come Tomorrow” co-written by Peter Roberts and Scott Cross and the songs “Traveler Of Time” and “I Will Live” co-written by Peter Roberts and Klay Shroedel. The songs will be part of Jai-Geng’s first album entitled “Vengeance” and will be co-produced by Peter Roberts and Roland Billberg. The album will be released worldwide through Record Union, Sweden.

I just got the news that my song “Dancing Barefoot” co-written with Carly Greenberg and sung by Charly, will be featured in the movie “Boy Toy”, a new comedy by Stardust Pictures.

Great news today: my song “No Greater Love” co-written with Scott Cross, is being used in an upcoming episode of the FOX hit show “House”. This is especially cool since it is one of my favorite TV shows.
Distribution in Japan
Today our label BDM Records signed a physical and digital distribution deal with Octet Records and music.jp in Japan. Octet’s representative AG Hakahira came by the studio to sign the contracts.

Today Lil Keezy & Tyrow, the two amazing rappers from Kenya, signed a production and distribution deal with BDM Records. The two artists create a very unique blend ofEnglish and Suaheli lyrics, and US, European and African HipHop and Dance grooves. Absolutely hot stuff!
